Hi, I’m Jeremy

I work with adults who may be experiencing anxiety, stress, or emotional pressure, and who are looking for practical ways to navigate situations that feel difficult to manage.

Many people I meet have already spent a long time trying to work things out on their own. They may understand what is happening in their lives, yet still find themselves feeling stuck or unsure how to move forward.

In counselling, we look carefully at what is happening in the present—the situations, choices, and reactions that shape everyday experiences.

As these become clearer, people often begin to see where change may be possible and what steps could move things in a different direction.

Over time, this process can help create greater clarity, steadiness, and confidence in responding to life’s challenges.

Situations People Often Explore in Counselling

People come to counselling for many different reasons. Some are facing specific challenges, while others are trying to understand reactions or decisions that continue to repeat.

Situations people often explore include:

  • persistent anxiety, worry, or emotional overwhelm
  • stress or burnout from carrying significant responsibilities
  • anger or frustration that feels difficult to manage
  • relationship tension, conflict, or trust difficulties
  • feeling stuck in situations that seem difficult to change
  • periods of transition, uncertainty, or important life decisions
  • wanting greater clarity about direction, priorities, or personal goals

Many people continue functioning well outwardly while privately feeling the strain of these experiences.

Approach

My work draws on several evidence-based therapeutic approaches, integrated in ways that support practical change and clearer decision-making.

Approaches I draw from include:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)
  • Motivational Interviewing (MI)

These approaches focus on understanding what is happening in the present and identifying steps that may help shift patterns or move situations forward.

Rather than focusing only on problems, the work often involves identifying existing strengths, exploring available choices, and clarifying what changes may be possible.
